Whisky Edinburgh was built for people looking for something smaller, more relaxed, and a little less predictable.

Our guided whisky tastings are hosted in some of central Edinburgh’s best independent pubs, away from the packed Royal Mile rooms and conveyor-belt experiences. Small groups. Good drams. Proper conversation.

Some guests are trying Scotch whisky for the first time. Others know their Islay from their Speyside. Both are welcome.

Our tastings focus on discovery rather than ceremony. Interesting bottles. Hidden gems & the Occasional surprise. No jargon. No pressure to “taste properly”. Just the chance to spend an hour enjoying good whisky with someone who knows the stories behind the glass.

We offer a range of tastings, from easy introductions to deeper sessions for experienced whisky drinkers.
